Moving your body in a way that feels good is a glorious fuck you to anyone who thinks fat people shouldn’t exist. In this workshop, Cameron will talk us through a little history on twerking and why doing it makes her feel her best self, and then get all of us shaking ass for fun (no experience necessary). Every ass is a good ass, so shake what your mama gave ya!

My name is Cameron McCausland-Taylor. I am a 23 year old, queer Māori-Pākeha/Dutch wahine, curently in my last year of a creative writing degree. I’m also a freelance writer, as well as the Te Ao Māori editor for Massive Magazine.
I have been an active part of the fat, body-positive community online since I was a teen. I truly owe it all the people I’ve connected with in this community who have shared their kaupapa & their knowledge, as they have made me the confident, happily fat wahine I am today.
I’m so excited to facilitate this workshop and shake ass with all you big, beautiful tāngata!
