Found poetry is a fun and engaging way to play with words and make poems. In this workshop you will be provided with a range of text sources and techniques to create found poems. We will take a block of text and change its whole attitude with just a marker, a pair of scissors, a stick of glue, and your own creative spark.
Meet Nafanua
Nafanua Purcell Kersel (she/her) is a Samoan writer, poet and performer who was raised in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara. She has published online and in print and recently completed an MA in creative writing at Te Pūtahi Tuhi Auaha o Te Ao, IIML.
Nafanua is based in Te-Matau-a-Maui where she raises three children, many animals and her voice.
