With a background in massage therapy, personal training, group fitness and health coaching, and a passion for body neutrality and fat liberation, Yvette will be discussing wellbeing from a HAES (health at every size) perspective, helping to empower us to shed new light on our relationship with ourselves and our bodies. Her talk will help us navigate both the wild west of social media and real life conversations and relationships.
Meet Yvette
Yvette is a fat queer Pākehā wahine from Ōtautahi working in the not for profit space within the queer community. She is a big sister, an aunty and a Sagittarius and she is joining us at Camp 2024 in two ways! As well as the body liberation session, Yvette will be on hand to take photo and video portraits for Campers across the weekend.
